                     MAY CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Friday May 2, 9, 16:  FUN-TASTIC FRIDAY NIGHT WORKSHOP  5pm-12M
     Pack up your personal supplies, pages & photos and join us for a night of fun. Great escape... 
     no kids, no husbands, no phones.  Perfect time for card makers, paper crafters & scrapbookers
     to work on their projects in the comfort of our gigantic workshop.  We have plenty of tools, 
     scissors, die cut machines, QuicKutz, Sizzix and more for you to use. Of course we are on hand 
     for assistance.  Light snacks, drinks, raffle and prizes.  Don't forget... 10% OFF any purchases 
     during the night.
Monday May 5: BEGINNER’S CLASS  7pm-9pm
     This class is for those new to scrapbooking or who just need a refresher.  You’ll learn the basics
     of tools, papers, cropping, photo mounting and layouts.  You’ll complete a 12x12 layout to add
     your own photos to later.
 
Tuesday May 6:  ALTERED PHOTO CUBES  7pm-9pm
     Embellish photo cubes with photos, flowers, ribbons, paper, paint and much more.  These are
     great gifts and look impressive out on display.  Please bring 
8-10 photos to mount on the cubes
     and be thinking of a color scheme you’d like 
to use.
Wednesday May 7:  VOTIVE CANDLE HOLDER CARD CLASS  7pm-9pm
    Great gift idea for Mother’s Day or any other occasion.  Create a beautiful card that also 
     serves as a votive candle holder.  This unforgettable gift 
will include loads of embellishments
     and creativity.  No two will look alike!
Saturday May 10:  MOTHER'S DAY KIDS CLASS  12N-2pm
    Moms- don’t read any further or your present may be spoiled!!!   Each child will create an
     absolutely adorable purse coupon book as well as a darling photo flowerpot. Please bring
     small photos of you and your family to this class
if possible. We will gift wrap the items
     and create a card to make a cute little
bundle for Mom or Grandma!
Monday May 12: FLAG BOOK  7pm-9pm
     There is actually no flag on this book. That’s just the name of this interactive mini book. It
     will make a perfect conversation piece to display family vacations, baby photos, school pictures,
     friends or whatever your heart desires. In this class, we will learn the technique and make the
     book ONLY.  Please bring about 20 photos as well as any papers & embellishments you’d like
     to use.  If you don’t have these supplies, of course you can purchase them during the class at 10% OFF.
Tuesday May 13:  TOTALLY TEEN CROP  6:30pm-8:30pm
     Great opportunity for teen scrapbookers to get together and crop, share ideas and just have
     some fun. Our workshop area is full of tools and cool stuff for you to use. Try something
     new that you’ve never done before or get caught up
on your latest project.  We will be on 
     hand for assistance and tips.
  
Wednesday May 14: JAZZY JOURNALING  7pm-9pm
     Journaling can sometimes be the hardest part of scrapbooking that everyone avoids at one
     time or another.  Do you hear yourself saying, “I don’t know what 
to write” or “I hate my 
     handwriting”?  Journaling is the single most important 
part of scrapbooking for loved ones 
     or friends in the future.  We will discuss 
the importance and easy ways to journal.  There are 
     so many choices and many 
are much easier than you might think.  You won’t scrap another 
     page without 
journaling after this class.

Saturday May 17:  NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY 
        We’re “Wild” About Scrapbooking !
     These days (or month) is meant to celebrate Scrapbooking, which is a major part of our lives, 
     fun, fulfilling and worthwhile. We will be starting with a “Wild” 12 hour (!) Crop from 9am-9pm.  
     Bagels & coffee in the morning, lunch & light dinner will be served. Can you believe, 12 glorious 
     hours of non-stop cropping? The day will be filled with SALES, PRIZES, GAMES, FOOD, SNACKS & 
     MORE. PRE-PAYMENT & RESERVATIONS MANDATORY FOR CROPS.  
     Actual Store hours are:  10am-5pm 
Sunday May 18: NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY
    
 We're "Wild" About Scrapbooking !
     The celebrating continues. Starting off with another “Wild” Crop 10am-6pm. That’s another 
     8 hours to crop ‘til you drop!  Light breakfast & lunch will be
served.  To add to the excitement, 
     we’re even having a Petting Zoo in the afternoon to illustrate we’re “Wild” About Scrapbooking! This
     should be one
“WILD” weekend celebration!  PRE-PAYMENT & RESERVATIONS MANDATORY FOR CROPS.  
     Actual Store hours are:  12N-4pm
Monday May 19: SPRING CARDS  7pm-9pm
     These cards are fabulous! If you’re a scrapbooker and thinking about venturing into card making territory, 
     or if you are a seasoned card maker, this class is for you! Each card is made with beautiful papers, colors 
     and supplies. Many of them feature die cuts from the Cricut machine. Some of the techniques taught in 
     this class are: Quickutz, ribbon, tags, quotes, Cricut dies, buttons, flourishes, inking, distressing, floral   
     embellishments and so on!
Tuesday May 20:  SKETCH CLASS  7pm-9pm
     There are thousands of scrapbooking and card sketches out there and now’s the time to learn 
     how to use them. They can benefit you in your busy life. In this class, you will create 3 different 
     layouts from 1 sketch, make 3 different cards from 1 card sketch and find out different places 
     to find sketches for free, or for purchase. Learning how to use these sketches in this class will 
     certainly make scrapbooking a lot easier and faster for you.
Wednesday May 21:  SCRAPLIFT LIKE A PRO  7pm-9pm
     In this class you will learn how to take a picture of a layout you really like and create one like 
     it, that is uniquely yours. Bring a picture of a layout you like or pick one in our store to copy. 
     Bring photos of one subject to use on your layout. 
Saturday May 24, 31:  KIDS CROP  10am-11am
     This is the first of many Saturday Kids Krop Klub meetings. Each Saturday, your child will create 
     a fun scrapbooking or paper crafting item in an hour. Tons of techniques will be taught and fun is 
     a guarantee! Stop by the store or call for more detailed information about projects for each week.
Saturday May 24: MOM & ME CROP  11am-4pm
     Come and crop in our workshop area for the afternoon with your child. Even if they have never 
     scrapbooked before, this is a great opportunity to introduce them to the craft and have a fun 
     experience with Mom.

Tuesday May 27: KIDS CROP  4pm-7pm
     Great opportunity for kid scrapbookers to get together and crop, share ideas and just have some fun. 
     Our workshop area is full of tools and cool stuff for you to use. Try something new that you’ve never
    done before or get caught up
on your latest project.  We will be on hand for assistance and tips.  
Wednesday May 28: EXPLODING BOX ALBUM  7pm-9pm
     These wonderfully eye-catching books make great gifts and are very clever!  This mini book is great to 
     display family vacation photos, baby pictures, school pictures, friend pictures, or whatever theme you’d
     like. This class will teach how to make the book and instruction will be given on how to embellish your 
     book, although the only thing included in the cost of the class is the supplies to make the BOOK. You 
     must bring about 20 pictures as well as papers and embellishments you would like to decorate your 
     book or you may purchase these at our store for 10% OFF this evening.
Friday May 30:  THE LATE WORKSHOP  5pm-2AM!
     Have a fabulous time sharing ideas, having fun and working on your scrapbooks, cards or any other 
     paper crafting project.  This evening is the same format as the regularly scheduled Friday Night Workshops 
     with one exception… you get to "crop 'til you drop" or 2:00AM, whichever comes first!  On these long
     evenings, we also supply a light dinner (usually pizza) in addition to snacks, drinks, etc.  Wear your 
     pajamas and be comfy!


CLASS POLICIES
l.  Please bring the following to every class unless otherwise specified:  paper trimmer, scissors, black pen  and most importantly, adhesive.  (You can purchase
    any of these before class if you don't have them on 
hand.)
2. A minimum of four (4) students is required to hold a class. Teachers normally prepare packets & materials one to two days before a class so it is important
    that we have an accurate count of pre-registered students at
 that time.  Class may be cancelled if less than four are pre-registered.  (Pre-registered means 
    the class has been pre-paid in advance.  Reservations are always suggested as classes may be cancelled or full if the number of
     pre-registered students is
    inaccurate.pre-registered.)
 
3  If we cancel a class, you may request a refund, exchange for store credit or transfer the fee to another class. If you choose to cancel a class, 24-hour notice is
    required to receive a refund or credit.
4. You will receive a 10% OFF discount on any purchases you make immediately prior to or after the class.
